Clean Sky at INNOVAIR National aeronautics in Sweden

The Swedish Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (FTF) in cooperation with the Strategic Innovation Programme Aeronautics (Innovair) held the Swedish Aerospace Technology Congress, the ninth triennial congress arranged by FTF on the 11-12 October in Solna (Stockholm), Sweden.

The Congress has become a well established forum for Swedish aerospace technology, with the aim of promoting research as well as technical and industrial development in the aerospace sector and also to create stimuli for higher education in aerospace.

As part of the Congress programme, Ron van Manen (Clean Sky 2 Programme Manager) presented an overview of Clean Sky 2: the set-up of the programme and participation, sketching out the progress to date, addressing the H2020 challenges as well ESIF – the regional dimension exemplified by the case of two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the South East (Östergötland) and West (Västergötland) regions in Sweden.
