Eric Dautriat steps down as Clean Sky Executive Director

Eric Dautriat will depart his role as Executive Director of Clean Sky Joint Undertaking (CSJU) from 15th September, having completed his second term, and the last possible according to the Clean Sky EU Regulation. After 7 years at the helm, Eric has been a key part of CSJU from its inception and has overseen the completion of several innovative technology Demonstrators within the strategic research partnership between the European Commission and the aeronautical industry. Clean Sky Joint Undertaking would like to thank Eric for his extraordinary contribution over the years and wish him every success in his future endeavours.

As the recruitment of Eric’s successor is still ongoing, from 16th September CSJU will be piloted ad interim by Tiit Jurimae, temporarily seconded to the Joint Undertaking by the European Commission. Tiit Jurimae brings with him many years of experience from the European Commission in the area of Research, Science and Innovation. A welcomed addition to the team who will remain in post until a permanent Executive Director is appointed, taking over at an exciting time as Clean Sky 1 transitions into its landing phase with several large demonstrators to be completed, and as Clean Sky 2 takes off and begins its steady climb. Clean Sky looks forward to welcoming Tiit Jurimae in the coming weeks, to continue CSJU’s work in earnest.
